Eugene Kaspersky
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaspersky Lab

Eugene Kaspersky co-founded Kaspersky Lab in 1997. From the outset and for the first ten years he headed technology development in the company. In 2007 he became the CEO of Kaspersky Lab. Prior to co-founding the company, Eugene worked at the KAMI Information Technologies Center (1991 - 1997), where he developed the AVP antivirus project with a group of associates (AVP was renamed Kaspersky Anti-Virus in November 2000).

Eugene graduated from the Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications and Computer Science in 1987. He began studying computer viruses in 1989 after being shown the Cascade virus.

Today, Eugene Kaspersky is one of the world's leading antivirus experts, with over 20 years of experience in the field of information security.

Eugene Buyakin

Eugene Buyakin
Chief Operating Officer of Kaspersky Lab

Eugene joined Kaspersky Lab in 1999 as finance director and oversaw a period of record growth in the company’s turnover and global operations. In 2007 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer at Kaspersky Lab. In this role he is responsible for the overall running of the company’s operations worldwide.

Prior to Kaspersky Lab, Eugene worked for MKT Bank, where he rose from a managerial role in the marketing department to become the deputy chairman of the bank’s board. He also worked as finance director for Rossiskii Kredit Group.

Eugene graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in economics.

John Bernstein

John Bernstein
Managing Director and Head of Europe of General Atlantic

John Bernstein is a managing director at General Atlantic. He is based at General Atlantic's London office, where he is responsible for investments in the broader European market. He is a member of the firm's investment committee, and serves on the boards of Studio Moderna and Kaspersky Lab.

John has been an active investor in the private equity industry in Europe since 1995. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2008, he served as a partner at Advent International, where he led its European telecoms and technology investment practice.

John holds an M.A. in economics and law from Downing College, Cambridge University, and qualified as a barrister.

Stephen Orenberg

Stephen Orenberg
Chief Sales Officer of Kaspersky Lab

Stephen joined the firm as president of Kaspersky Lab USA in 2005 to lead the company’s business development in North America. In 2008 he was appointed managing director, responsible for overseeing operations in North and South America. In March 2011 Stephen was appointed Kaspersky Lab’s Chief Sales Officer, heading the Sales and Business Development Division with responsibility for the development and maintenance of our global sales platform. He also has direct responsibility for sales and marketing in Europe and North America.

Stephen has held senior management positions in the information technology industry for over 20

years and has specialized on the software side throughout. During the course of his career, Stephen has been President of internet security companies Sophos, Netguard, and Dr. Solomon's Software. During his tenure at Dr. Solomon's, he oversaw the company’s development from a start-up to a major player in the North American market.

Stephen attended Emerson College, where he majored in communications.

Alexey De Mont De Rique

Alexey de Mont de Rique
Chief Technology Advisor of Kaspersky Lab

Alexey joined Eugene Kaspersky at the KAMI Information Technologies Center in 1991, and later co-founded Kaspersky Lab in 1997.

Early on in the project he was responsible for product development. Later on his focus of responsibility shifted to the AV engine, and then to technology development.

Alexey graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1988, and then worked several years as a computer engineer in one of the Soviet rocket science institutes.

Today Alexey holds the position of Chief Technology Advisor of Kaspersky Lab.
