Kaspersky Lab signs agreement with Time Group to protect 75,000 users. Culham Innovation Centre, UK (11th April 2003) - Kaspersky Lab announced today that it has signed an agreement that will allow Time Group, Europe's largest computer operation, to pre install Kaspersky Anti-Virus with a one year full licence on all of its PCs distributed through retail channels. Kaspersky Lab expects to supply Time over the next twelve months with around 75,000 copies of its award-winning anti-virus software. Kaspersky Anti-Virus will provide Time's customers with a combination of efficient real-time anti-virus protection, permanent e-mail anti-virus filtration and automatic, daily anti-virus database updates that will ensure comprehensive protection against all types of viruses and malicious code. In addition, free technical support via telephone and email is included. The one-year licence provided with Kaspersky Anti-Virus, will enable users to benefit from its protection far longer than many other Anti-Virus OEM licences that normally expire within three months. Users will then be able to re-new their licence after twelve months at a 30% discount from the listed full price.
