Kaspersky is pleased to announce the opening of its Cyber Research Center at KidZania Santa Fe, the most entertaining city for children, aiming to educate and raise awareness about the importance of digital security. Located in Mexico City, this new interactive space is designed for children to explore the fundamentals of cybersecurity through hands-on experiences that prepare them to face the risks of the digital world from an early age.
Cybersecurity
education is crucial in an increasingly digitalized world, where children are
exposed to various online risks from an early age. By integrating cybersecurity
knowledge into a fun environment like KidZania, Kaspersky ensures that children
not only learn to navigate the digital world safely but also develop critical
skills to identify threats and protect themselves and their loved ones.
"Cybersecurity is a basic element in our digital lives, and the
alliance with KidZania is the best way for children to understand that being
safe on the internet is just as important as being safe in the real world,"
commented Judith Tapia, Consumer Product Manager at Kaspersky Mexico. "This experience inspires today's girls and boys to become the
cyber heroes of tomorrow."
Kaspersky’s Cyber
Research Center at KidZania will allow visitors to become cyber investigators,
tackling challenges such as digital fraud, online espionage, and identity
theft. Children will also develop key skills like critical thinking and
problem-solving while learning how to protect their privacy and security on the
internet.
"It is a source of pride for our company, as we also believe in the
power of education as the most important variable to generate positive changes,
and in this case, we will do it hand in hand with the cyber heroes of tomorrow,
who will help us fulfill our mission: to build a safer world,"
emphasized Claudio Martinelli, Managing Director for the Americas at Kaspersky.
"For us, collaborating with Kaspersky is essential, as we know that
the Cyber Research Center will be a place where children learn about online
safety and how to protect themselves in the digital world, topics that are
essential in our daily lives," commented Hernán Barbieri,
Director of Operations at KidZania.
Officially opened on March 12, 2025, the Cyber Research Center will be working to foster a generation more aware of cyber challenges, welcoming thousands of children annually and empowering them with the tools necessary to become responsible and proactive users in a digital environment.
